Greetings to all! I am very impressed with this website. I'm Judy and the members of my flock are Frisco (red fronted macaw) and Lulu (nanday conure) and Tom (human male). We also are friends with a little screech owl, Hootie, that lives in our palm trees and Ig, a five ft long wild iguana that lives in our oak tree.
I'm excited to explore this site because we just added an addition onto our cabin in Colorado and a lot of that addition is dedicated to the birds. I've already gotten several great decorating ideas here. And I could always use toy ideas, foraging ideas and new recipes.

Toy, there are three secrets.
1. Max out your 401k 2. Always shop in thrift stores 3. Marry a pilot <grin>
Oh, 4... 4. Find a great birdysitter (I think this may be the hardest, Toy)
Thank you!!

>>1. Max out your 401k<<
Don't have one...dang!
>>2. Always shop in thrift stores<<
Yep do that!
>>3. Marry a pilot<
Well you married the pilot & I married the guy who works in the factory that builds small airplane engines ;).
Oh, 4... >4. Find a great birdysitter (I think this may be the hardest, Toy)<
You got that right! I do have my brother & sis-in-law that live 3 houses away & will come feed my poodles & birds. Downside is the birds can't be left out when we are away.... so we hardly ever go away.
My U2 is phobic (hormones), CAG is a VAMPIRE & my B&G Macaw is so bonded to me she won't let anyone else touch her. Ahhh the joys of living with parrots, LOL.
So do your birds go on the boat with you? I know JaJaBinks would lOVE it. She's got more curosity that a cat, LOL. One of her fav things to do is go to the Bike Club with us. Huz is a member of a local Harley club. She gets all excited when she hears the Harleys firing up. Now if her Daddy would just let her sit on his.....NOT!

Thanks, all! It is great to be here.
We're having an addition built on to our (tiny) cabin in Colorado, so I'll be posting pics and asking for input. Tom and I are reading all the great info on this site.
