I wish I'd had a video camera close by last weekend! We have a ceiling fan on our patio and a little sparrow landed on one of the blades. The fan was turning very slowly from the wind and the sparrow hopped from blade to blade, the opposite way the fan was turning, then his little friend came along and joined him. It was a riot to watch them It looks like its something they've done before because there is little birdie poop under the fan most of the time.
That's really interesting. Hmmmm, I wonder what they're up to. We had to limit our use of our fans because the Humming birds were actually chasing each other around the yard and sometimes went straight under our patio. They fly SO fast I was getting worried.
I wonder if your wild birds are just looking for a perch or maybe catching a few flying bugs? ROTFL. I'd love to see a photo of them spinning around. LOL
