Okay, since I know the fids are such good problem solvers and I want to be ready for baby when she comes home, what are the best ceiling protectors to keep those busy beaks from the drywall and plaster? i've seen the pvc lengths with chain inside them, and I've seen the flat angular ?acrylic? pieces that attach above the hanging toys, but does anyone recommend one type over the other? and is there any other types that I may be missing? And who do you recommend to get them from? My baby is a GW, in case it matters.

Hey Tj, just go to Lowes or Home Depot and get some plexiglas. You can have it cut to the size you need. Drill a whole through the center and you're set.
I have a wooden beam running through my kitchen and it helped keeping my Goffin's away from it. :)

Wow. Well, that's a lot easier than I imagined. Thanks ! The less money spent there, the more for toys, treats, and home.
Next question, about how wide should I make it? about 2 ft? I guess I'll just have to measure her reach.
thanks!

Hi TJ, hmmm, I think you may want to go with 3 feet wide! lol You'd be amazed how inventive they get when they want to get at something!
Hope you got it all figured out!
