I have the play gym that came with Murphy my CM. It is a metal ring with one branch and a place for two bowls and one toy. Not too exciting and cold on her feet in winter. Actually I think it looks uncomfortable. I want to get her a new wooden gym. I have surfed the web and feel like I have hit every site. What I have a difficult time finding is one with a tray like I have. There is a seed guard at the bottom and under that is a removeable tray where I put paper down and can easily remove the tray to clean it every day. The gyms I have seen have a tray at the bottom but it is not removeable and looks like it is more difficult to clean. From what I see you have to take the entire unit outside to clean it properly. I did find only one site that had a removeable tray but it was very expensive. Any suggestions? Any one have a gym that without the removeable tray and it is easy to clean? BTW, building one myself is not an option.

I've had a "Parrot Tower" for 6 years now. My U2 & Macaw love it. You can see some pics of them on it here:

Mine is the "Amazon" floor model. I removed the swing that came with it. Added a extension to the center post, added the carousel toy holder to the top & a boing. It washes up in a jiffy. You can also take it apart & put it in the dishwasher if you want. You can move the perches at will, or add/remove perches/etc as you choose. I chose not to put the water/food dishes on it. Mine sits in my living room & I didn't want food/water slung all over the walls & drapes, LOL.

You'll find them here:

Hi Marian,
I got all my gyms locally so that doesn't really help you much:(. None of them have the removable tray so I just cover the whole thing w/ newspaper.
Have you thought about getting a hanging one? All my birds love their "ATOMS."
You could even hang a couple of different ones next to each other.

just a thought
