Hi everybirdie,
I am slowly working on our website, one day at a time. http://macawdreams.com As most of you know, I rushed to get our new site up as we got our new web host.
Anyway, I am slowly making changes and adding new things!!! That's where I need your help. Please post your favorite bird links so I can add them to our "link page" on the site.
I already have a few, but not nearly enough. Here's what I have so far:

Thanks Susan. I'm getting there. I'm getting ready for the bird bird show in Long Island on Oct. 1st. L.I.P.S. holds it. I'm embroiderying/sewing like crazy, LOL. Figured if I was gonna do a show I'd pass on the smaller ones & tackle a big one.
I hope to have my site open before the show. Just need time to get the rest of it set up.

JaJaBinks is actually my logo. I took a pic of her & traced it. I'm having a rubber stamp made right now. Also using her on my paperwork, etc. Hummm maybe I should apply for a TM.
You can bet I'll do my best to take pics at the show. It's a good 5 hour drive one way! YIKES! We're staying 2 days, so I can survive it, LOL.

Hi Toy and all,
Well the fids are doing fine. Surviving the heat, Not sure about mom surviving the heat and I love the heat. Guess with the gas pricing going up we better start Canning the heat with the corn as we are going to need it.
Keike has decided to ask everyone walking down the street on their evening walks "is it good?" they all laugh and answer him. If they does not like what they have to say then he tells them "shut up" or "stop the yelling". A couple teens were walking and they were holding hands and doing all that lovey out of mom's site stuff and Keiki yelled "giveme kiss", "kiss your belly" then started laughing. Well what was funnier yet as they did not see him in the tree, they could only see me cleaning playstands on the deck. They got a little upset with me and gave me the finger as they thought I was making fun of them. Keiki and Sinbad started laughing and that made it worse and was number one again. Now I am number one in the neighborhood with the young couples.. :)) cj

LOL too funny Cj. I often get kids stopping buy to visit the birds when they're out in the aviary. Sometimes whole families come by looking for them. So far none have said bad words to them....keeping fingers crossed here.
Yeah the heat has been high, but I'm loving it :). The 100% humidity can take a hike! I hope it stays warm right up to Xmas this year...wishful thinking ;).
The fuel prices will be beyond ridiculous this winter. Those of us who must suffer thru the long freezing winters will have to get second jobs just to pay for heating fuel. Too bad we can can some of this summer heat & use it over winter.
